Sri Lanka’s first ever floating resort – Bolagala Floating Resort sits in the heart of Bolagala, a calm city with a welcoming and picturesque ambience situated 15 km towards the North East of Negombo.
It consists of 50 floating cabanas that are specially designed to meet the expectations of luxury travelers. Ten of these cabanas are equipped with GPS trackers enabling them to freely move along the lake, and three of them are developed into suits. In addition to this there is an underwater spa, floating pool, floating restaurant and bar, a gym and a tennis court to provide all visitors an overall experience.
This resort would be open for guests by the end of the year of 2019 and we are planning to have an evolutionary advantage for accommodation in this field by the unique floating nature of this resort.

This 2nd phase of Bolagala Floating Resort is done in a neighboring 13 acre land which is also artificially made for the watersport activities itself. This is done with the primary intention of giving our guests the best experience to have within the resort itself.
These watersport activities are going to help towards the regular bookings of tourists as this resort would be the only place providing and in-house water sporting experience.
